致外国友人的一封信（发送于3月22日）

 Very pleased to hear from you and I am grateful to your caring about what happened in Tibet, China and I really appreciate it. In our campus, we can log on the website of BBC, CNN, SkyNews and some other foreign websites, and even youtube once a while, so with both the media in china and abroad, I can keep myself abreast of what is happening in this world. Media make lots of fun of our ordinary people, you see those photos shown on those foreign websites, I sometimes feel puzzled at which one or ones are true. With modern softwares like adobe photoshop, media workers can easily create an inveracious photo by either deleting or adding something to those original ones.For your reference, you can have a look at those pictures shown in this website： http://www.anti-cnn.com/

 What is more, I do not think that the Chinese government is stupid in this way which may cause lots of adverse effects to the coming Olympics in Beijing. All Chinese and Tibetans need peace other than riots; all the Chinese government should do and have to do is bringing peace back to people. Without the professional knowledge of the Chinese history or Tibetan history, western journalists  should not arbitrarily say those words like “the Chinese army intruded Tibet in 1951”. I hate those reporters who are history illiterates reporting events happened in china with personal feelings or understandings.  

I am sorry for those words that may upset you. And thank you again for your caring about china. You are very welcome to come back to china again, and I am sure that our country welcomes you. If I can be of any service to you, please send me a note.
